Had my interview today - thanks for the advice. It went incredibly smoothly and was very laid back. Focused more on learning about Vandy than my resume or credentials. I asked most of the questions.

Went complete and had my interview in mid to late September, status changed to decision letter mailed on 11/30. Check that status checker folks!

Vandy is my reach, applying JD/PhD in philosophy. I submitted 9/13, no letter coming for me yet. Uh oh!

This is exciting (if one assumes that the thing mailed on the 30th will be a box and not an envelope with unwanted tidings). Thanks again for the heads-up!

Got an email about the 30th mail and I don't think they could be that lame to deliver a 2.3kg rejection letter. So take it easy!

Interviewer wants to conduct over the phone. I would prefer it to be in person, can I just express this via email in a polite way or just roll with what he wants?

Also, app held until Feb Lsat and new GPA! which is good news

Nothing. Texted home asking this afternoon, hoping, but nothing. If it was mailed on Friday first class or better, it should have arrived by today. Hoping it arrives tomorrow.

I interviewed November 16, my file was complete November 16 and the decision mailed on November 30.

got the box today. applied nov 19, had an interview sometime in between, complete nov 26, decision mailed nov 30. LSAT 166/GPA 3.83 from a top 20 undergrad, not a URM. good luck to everyone else!

Mine was sent to my permanent address, but I graduated in May so I don't have a school address. Useless, I know

Interview tomorrow. My interviewer asked me to email over my Resume. I don't think he too excited to be doing this, he seemed kind of rude in his emails.

My interviewer was curt and kind of pushy in his emails, then very nice in real life. Maybe that's just how a lot of lawyers are over email?

Got my box today as well, thought the whole thing was very cool! I wish all schools did this.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it. My interviewer also seemed kind of uninterested or even annoyed in e-mails. She turned out to be very friendly and enthusiastic in person and we even got a little sidetracked talking about all sorts of random things.
