Nolongermissing, when did you apply and when did you receive your admissions decision? I applied 12/07 and haven't had a response yet. I'm ancy

Oh, don't worry. I applied early November. Heard back 3-4 weeks later. Just got an email referring to scholarships

How early did one have to apply to be considered for scholarship money?

I'm not sure exactly where, but I remember reading somewhere that by January nearly all of their scholarships money is gone. So I'd say probably mid-Nov at the latest, that way they can give you a decision before the Christmas break (they seem pretty quick, although there might be some exceptions) and offer you a scholarship if they want to.

You should be. They said deadline for consideration your application has to be submitted by January.

That's weird. I called to ask about my package bc I didn't get an email when everyone on here was getting emails so they reset mine and the award letter was there. Maybe try calling the recruitment office?

Yeah, my e-mail didn't have the award letter. It said to wait for the mail. The office is closed so I guess I'll have to wait until after Christmas if I don't get the letter.

So happy for everyone who got in...and thanks to everyone who has been sharing their numbers; it's very helpful.
UM was very cool and emailed me saying one of my letters was missing, which I knew, and this was all they were waiting for. (Rec said she mailed it....then I got an email from LSAC saying the letter wasn't in the envelope...)
She said she would send it again because she was going to get ink for her printer (this was a Sunday) and then I got a text saying it was mailed (on a Thursday....LAST Thursday.)
Sigh.

Thanks for listening---and seriously, congratulations to everyone who got accepted AND double congrats to those with $$$ offers....what a great way to wrap up 2012!

Hopefully I'll see you guys in green and orange next fall!

Anyone else have a gpa stipulation with their scholarship? I received 25k/yr with a 3.3 gpa requirement stip.

I believe mine was same amount but 3.2 gpa...I'm definitely going to try to work on getting that removed
