Nopee. I guess we should be sort of encouraged just cuz it probably means that they like us enough to hold off on rejecting/waitlisting us yet. Glass half fullblackie5 wrote:lossmit wrote:Have any ED -> RD applicants heard any news today?

Haha, thanks! Yeah, I interviewed as soon as I could in August and went complete in early October. Glad to finally hear back a week after the "6-8 weeks from December 1st." Best of luck to all those still waiting.cusenation wrote:9/30 submit and 2/6 admit?! Jeez. We salute your patience.pinballwiz24 wrote:

Also, I was straight RD, not held over.

Yeah, I was not expecting to hear back so quickly. I'm ~3.65 with a 176, so over one 75th, but below median GPA. Good luck to all of you who have been waiting far longer, I hope you hear soonmrizza wrote:Are you over both 75ths? That's crazy fastforrealtho wrote:Also in as of couple hours ago! Thought I'd add to the action log for today. Regular Decision that went complete in January and received acceptance today. Hope that a few more notices of good news will be rolling out today!

Would you mind withdrawing pretty please? I know your stats are better than mine and NU is my top choice!StylinNProfilin wrote:joining the Waitlisted AJD pool. Already decided on attending UT but woulda been nice to say I got into NU, oh well...
ETA: Same thing for admitted AJD folks that have decided to go elsewhere. You ultimately decide my fate.

They sure know how to mess with someone's head. I got an email from Stephen C. Dale saying that my decision letter was ready...after having been admitted last Friday...I thought maybe they messed up last week and were letting me know that they had decided to ding me. Nope, just a duplicate acceptance...maybe they just REALLY want me!

Can I have your extra admission please. It's not like Southwest Airlines where one person may need 2 seatsmastermind10 wrote:They sure know how to mess with someone's head. Was admitted mid-January. Loving the leathery portfolio that the acceptance package materials come in (received today).

You got it...I'll just forward you the PDF of the letter and tell them they sent to you and I'm gifting one to you. I love the Southwest concept...could you imagine if it was just first come first serve the race to get your app in early!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
