Maybe if you could make the argument that it makes more sense for you to stay in Houston/Dallas due to family or something could make them throw some more $.

I dont have any evidence but it certainly wouldnt hurt to try. I doubt they would ever match their offers but maybe they would throw a few extra grand a year at you.

I got a letter in the mail today and was hoping it was going to be some scholly info, but instead was a letter from the dean talking about the benefits of UT. Nice letter but

Omg the green dots are so ridiculously close to my numbers but they still haven't called. I was really hoping for that phone call today! I'm going to go visit next Friday to remind them that I exist.

Edit: UT is being weirdly friendly to splitters this year and it is leading me on

I wonder what time they usually call people. From what people have posted, it seems like it is late morning. I would let it go to voice mail anyway because crying like a basket case out of happiness is probably not the best first impression.
