$7k/year, which makes Cornell substantially more expensive than my other options. Going to try my luck at negotiating

in via email, 167/3.69! i'm excited, but my decision (usc ($75k) vs. byu (half off already super low tuition) vs. cornell) just got harder.

Talk that talk to me...JXander wrote:Jay, according to LSN a lot of admits have withdrawn, so even a WL should have us jumping for joy should we receive one.

Congrats to all! Such positive vibes going on in this thread today!
Any speculation in regards to the order in which scholly decisions are coming out? Trying to hold on to the hope that they are releasing them in the order the scholly apps were processed. Did mine last minute.

7k e-mail yesterday. If they don't increase it to 15k+, Cornell wont happen. The repayment would just be too onerous.

Re: Cornell c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Hey everyone, question here. I went complete at end of January (after applying late in December). My status just changed yesterday to 3/26, but it still says Complete, not UR or anything. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm a URM, reverse splitter. I don't take this as a good sign, necessarily, just curious.

I think it always says "complete." The date changes indicate that you're under review though. At least that's how it happened for me.pebblsrock wrote:Hey everyone, question here. That's the equivalent of being UR for Cornell. 2nd complete = UR1, 3rd complete = UR2pebblsrock wrote:Hey everyone, question here. I went complete at end of January (after applying late in December). Last time I was expecting a decision and went to work I got waitlisted from Georgetown. Maybe I should skip work so I don't get waitlisted from Cornell?

That is such a good reason to not go to workSteelPenguin wrote:Last time I was expecting a decision and went to work I got waitlisted from Georgetown. Maybe I should skip work so I don't get waitlisted from Cornell?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
