Finally checking in. Submitted yesterday. Hopefully the late application does not hurt my chances too much.

If you're late, I'm really late, I still haven't submitted. Still waiting on a transcript to be processed. I accepted a job offer but I decided to throw some apps out there just to see what happens.

I posted this a few days ago, but I had to pull out of a group interview the day before due to a medical emergency. I emailed the school explaining and saying I was of course still interested in GTown. This was mid december, and I never got a reply to that email and I'm still sitting on the same update from 11/27 before they offered me the interview (which was my first update after initially going complete).
Should I be sending a follow up email? I think it's weird that I have had zero movement; people who've spoken about declining the interview initially seemed to move forward in the process after declining, and people who did the interview move forward as well. I feel like I'm in some weird limbo..

Thanks for the reply! What should I say? Am I just basically reiterating interest or saying whats up with my application? Should I reference status checker dates, or is that weird?

Received the acceptance letter today with a personal note from Dean Cornblatt. It was very sweet. I visited GULC over the summer and love the school, so I'm very excited.

For those of you who did an alumni interview, how soon after the interview did you see a status update? I had mine on Dec. 20 and still haven't seen any change.

I had my interview, the interviewer, was selling me Gtown, not asking me about my thoughts, ect. He did most of the talking. Has anyone else had an interview similar to that?

My alumni interviewer did a lot of the same. She even told me that she's pretty sure the whole point of the interview was to convince me to attend the school, not determining my eligibility to attend.
I felt like that was off, but it was still a nice compliment. My $0.02.

Got a request to interview with an alumnus today.
Confused though because my numbers are 3.64/170 with 2 years WE. Don't feel like I should be borderline.
Anyone have thoughts on what will happen if I decline the interview?
I wrote them asking if my Dec score had been added to my file (previously had a 169 from Oct) and, if not, if this might change their propensity to request an interview.
What is the deal here?

Tough to say for sure whether the decline will hurt you, but I doubt it will. Your numbers definitely speak volumes for you, but maybe it's to gauge your interest in the school? Could pay dividends come time for scholly offers to come out.
I really don't think the interview could hurt you, so why not take the time to do it? GULC will want numbers like yours in the end, so the interview might be to determine your YP potential.

YP is a nice thought but since I'm under median with my GPA it might be wishful. I seem to be right in the sweet-spot for admission and I did a why Georgetown video as well.
Guess I'll wait to hear back.
I like G-town a lot but this one puzzles me.
