Stupid question... If it says that I have a dean's scholarship for 15K in the ASW, is that 15K total or 15k per year?

Ok. here is why I said this. .this is from Dean Z:
When to Apply:
As admissions are rolling, applicants are encouraged to “apply as early as you can submit a good, careful application,“ Dean Zearfoss said. “For Michigan, I would consider anyone who submits prior to mid-December as being ‘early’ in the process. In contrast, people who submit in late January and beyond are submitting at the tail end, when we have made about 75% of our decisions, and seats are becoming more scarce.”

Withdrawn.
Good luck guys!!!!
Also, dibs on the acceptance and money!

For those who sent in a LOCI after the email, how long did it take them to acknowledge it?

Do they update the status dates every day? I've been complete for a week roughly and just saw the status date change to today and am hoping that's a good sign that they are reviewing my app still and I'm in the running!

What kind of numbers are getting $$?
Is a 169/3.6 basically looking at sticker?

Not from what I see on lsn. You numbers are similar to mine and mostly everyone with similar numbers has seen between $45K to $75K with the median appearing to be $67.5K.

Checking in. 4.04/172 non-traditional student (30+, married with kids).
Having grown up in Michigan I am attracted to the idea of going back for law school. My wife, however, is less attracted due to the cold weather. I have tried to explain that, although it might snow a little more and be a little colder than Indianapolis, the authorities typically manage the weather much better. She's not buying it.

That'd be great. How long after acceptance does scholly info come? Does it appear on the site or come through email/snail mail/VeeD101 wrote:nsideirish wrote:What kind of numbers are getting $$?

Hmmm I don't know how long after...I'm still waiting for mine (fingers crossed). Shows up on your admitted students page and then via snail mail I believe.nsideirish wrote:That'd be great. Wait, what? I'm looking at the graph for last year's cycle at Michigan on LSN (http://michigan.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/1112/) and the 169 line, even up to the highest GPAs, is almost all waitlists and rejections. The graph for this year's cycle is almost entirely green with a tiny sample - not reliable at all - clearly the huge waves of dings and waitlists are coming. I don't mean to discourage the person with a 169 3.6, because the graphs indicate a decent chance of admission, but telling them they should expect a scholarship seems like deliberate misinformation.

I was looking entirely at current year numbers since it seems that 169 is an auto admit with some money if you are between 3.6 and 3.7 gpa. Also I was assuming that the person had already got in and was wondering about scholarship info only.fallingup wrote:Wait, what? You are however entirely correct that the sample size is small since it is only January 24. Definitely not trying to mislead.

Every green dot at 169 on last year's graph got money.fallingup wrote:Wait, what? Yeah, well that graph doesn't include a lack of response. I submitted 3 months ago and nothing.nsideirish wrote:BigZuck wrote:Yeah nonsideirish wrote:169 and 3.5+ seems to be auto-admit this year
