As far as weekends go, it seems Michigan changes your status but you don't see it until it updates the next days so this person was likely admitted on Friday but it didn't change till Sat.

This is of course speculation on this threads part. But it is obvious Sats are fair game with Michigan but Sundays seem to remain safe

FWIW, my ASW says my admit packet was mailed on 1/12, which was on Saturday. Not really sure what to take from that, but it does seem to confirm that at least some things happen on Saturday--I just didn't check over the weekend.

Yeah, I was guessing not, but they did say in that email that that sort of thing did happen occasionally. I'm still sitting at complete, fwiw.

This is actually true. I'm thinking I should invest in some lakefront property ASAP for when MI is the next Thailand. Thanks climate change. And if my cycle abruptly ended today, I would almost certainly be at U of M. I have Duke, Gtown, Cornell, and UPenn but haven't heard anything money-wise so I guess we'll see as the cycle continues.

You guys would be a major pro to going there. You would get to enjoy hearing me bitch about the cold and we could hang out together.

Plus, as a non-1L, a good escape from the stress bubble that is your first year.

In light of all the denials today, I'm pulling the goalie and sending in a LOCI/update on my file as a last resort even though I was deferred from ED. I'm definitely gonna get dinged if I don't, so I don't have much to lose. Love me, Michigan.
