Grr. LSN has been down for me and it's making it really difficult to stalk the shit out of you guys, even though I have most of your numbers memorized. Looking for something else to use up my manic energy.Audeamus wrote:congrats! complete date?TexasAggie13 wrote:IN!!! 172, 3.8, was so excited I forgot to check the postmark date but I will post it once I get back home!

+1 Personally, I've channeled my energy into combating one of my Senator's opposition VAWA. His staff and I are now in an aggressive communication cycle. I ask for an explanation of his position; his staff send me a letter full of fluff; I call and demand something with more substance; his staff send me a letter riddled with factual inaccuracies; I call and request the sources for the "facts" in the letter....still waiting for the response to that one. I must say, it really helps burn the tension from waiting to hear back from law schoolsph5354a wrote:Grr. That's awesome that you're doing that! VAWA needs to get passed yesterday!Audeamus wrote:+1 Personally, I've channeled my energy into combating one of my Senator's opposition VAWA. Just withdrew my app. I decided that I could not bring myself to go to the least transparent of T14 law schools, even if I got accepted. Good luck to all of you, and I hope the rest of the Hamiltons and Butlers go out to TLSers.

Thanks for withdrawing, but that's sad to hear. I suppose if you have great options, even a sluggish admissions office can be a turn off. Are you still considering three more years at NYU?Mr. Elshal wrote:Just withdrew my app. I decided that I could not bring myself to go to the least transparent of T14 law schools, even if I got accepted. Nope. I visited HLS yesterday and fell head over heels in love with it.banjo wrote:Thanks for withdrawing, but that's sad to hear. In terms of communication throughout the admissions process. Most other schools were very clear about every detail and development whereas I have only ever received one short email from Columbia, with almost no information in it. As was mentioned above, the sluggish office was a bit of a turn-offshntn wrote:Least transparent? Oh well in that case, Berkeley is by far the worst offender for me so far. Still not a peep from Stanford, but Berkeley ≠ Stanford.Mr. Elshal wrote: In terms of communication throughout the admissions process. Is anyone else having a trouble accessing just about any page on the Columbia site that has to do with admissions or financial aid?

I believe access to these pages is solely given on a need basiselterrible78 wrote:Is anyone else having a trouble accessing just about any page on the Columbia site that has to do with admissions or financial aid?

Their website is pretty awful. I went to go find a financial aid form, which the site talked about but provided no download link for. It was in the admitted student's packet, but really?elterrible78 wrote:Is anyone else having a trouble accessing just about any page on the Columbia site that has to do with admissions or financial aid?

That's the same one I am filling out right now. I wanted to try to get a downloadable form and fill it out to e-mail it back, but it seems like that's not possible. Guess I'll just have to pop it in the mail. Congrats on that NYU scholarship, by the way.shntn wrote:Their website is pretty awful.
