Congrats to those who have been admitted! I am totally anxious upon hearing CA people are receiving acceptances. I have about 3 more hours before the mail arrives. I am dying here!

Might be more appropriate in the NYU threat, but when did you apply for financial aid? Was it one of the named scholarships, or just a general merit scholarship?

Just received the letter in the CT area. Absolutely thrilled to be accepted!! Applied end of November; 3.93/171 non URM

The letter says Arthur T. Vanderbilt scholarship. I didn't apply for any of the named scholarships, so this is really surprising/confusing to me as well.

Congrats new admits!!

No VCE in an outer borough, but my heart did leap into my throat when there was another NCE in my mailbox...unrelated.

I submitted mid-December but took weeks to go complete, so here's hoping for a later wave!

Mail, but it was from NYU, lol so I guess I'm going to move over to the appropriate thread. Hoping for a Hamilton later this week though! Haha.

Just curious, when did you go complete?

Second week of January, however this was after emailing admissions so I don't believe my timeline is indicative of anything.

I haven't applied yet, actually wasn't planning on doing so, but i just received the webinar invite. Anyone else get this? I received the same thing from Yale (also wasn't thinking of applying there) but if they give me a fee waiver maybe i will. I'm sure it's just a ploy for them to pad their stats but curious more than anything.

NCE? What does that mean? __ colored envelope, what's the N? (I know it's the accept letter, obviously)

Vomit Colored Envelop.

I guess it is really just a White Envelop.

Yeah, I also got the e-mail. I almost want to apply just because I have gotten lucky with a few hail mary's, but I think they just want my money and rejection to add to their stats. Are you also URM?

Nope, I'm about as WASPY (-the Protestant, Catholic as one might say) as one can get. Just with some really great softs which they wouldn't know about from LSAC.
