CLS is actually quite a bit more selective than NYU, probably because their yield is better

I think NYU's larger class size is also a factor. Even if their yield were exactly the same, NYU would still have to accept more students in order to reach 450. Still, I'd guess that the number of students who get into NYU and don't get into CLS is pretty minimal.

Plugging in numbers around my range gets a 13% acceptance rate for CLS and 69% for NYU with pretty large sample sizes for both. NYU has the 2nd highest acceptance rate in the T-14 after GULC. CLS is much more difficult to get into.

That's funny...my chances are only 3% better at NYU than at CLS using law school predictor.

Got the letter today (was gone over the weekend, came Saturday). It was a white envelope with a blue folder inside with a letter. No nasty colors or anything..

Like I don't understand. what more could she have done with a 180 LSAT and 3.97 GPA ?
