I've been UR since 9/28. Has to be some kind of record. I think my application made Duke's head explode.

Admitted 12/6 via e-mail. PT/171/3.92 no "why duke"

I'm happy! I applied to Duke pretty much on a whim after receiving the PT invitation but I've been looking at it more closely and I'm definitely interested. Waiting for $$$ (fingers crossed). Good luck to everyone else!

Sup bros. I just got in a little while ago. Won't say when and I won't tell my scores because I've said some pretty weird things on here. I'm really interested in going if I can cop some of that schola-sheeyup money. Anyway thought I'd say hello.

I really really hope I get into Duke. I wish I had applied ED to better my chances. Unfortunately, I was careless with one of my essays and didn't proofread it but I did re-submit it about a week ago.

I've been UR since 11/19 so I'm not feeling great.

Just submitted my app! I got a PT offer so at least I will know soon - although at the same time, the next ten days will be agonizing for sure!

They've been pretty solid with taking exactly 10 days, so it'll definitely come today. They waited until like 6:30 pm EST to send me an e-mail....evil.

Word. The time between "Decision made; watch for email" and the actual email is just...mean.

For what it's worth, I didn't write a specific "Why Duke" essay. I did write an LLM addendum, though, as I applied for the JD/LLM program.

Yup--I got my status checker updated on a Sunday at around 5pm-ish and didn't get the email until 8pm-ish. I had the Thanksgiving holiday in the middle of my PT review time, and they still managed to get me a decision by the 11th day. Pretty impressive.

Congrats! We have similar stats and I also applied to the LLM program (with addendum). Stuck at ready for review though - mind if I ask when you went to UR?

So, I just got my status checker alert that Duke has sent my acceptance letter, but I'm away for a few weeks. Is the letter something can sit in the mailbox for a week or two, or should i have someone grab it and forward it along to me?

Hm. I want to say towards the mid/end of November? I had an update date on 12/5 before I got a decision, but I'm almost certain I was under review before then. I submitted 11/2, RD (no PT). Good luck good luck good luck!

10-day turnaround only applies to applicants who were invited to apply Priority Track (may also apply to Accelerated ED?)

As you applied RD and apparently not PT, this has nothing to do with you.
