There were 11-13 people in each of the past three cycles reporting ED acceptances, and only 4 this year. So either a bunch of admits from yesterday have their profiles hidden, less people are using LSN, or there is another batch coming.

Can we get actual clarification on whether they release ED acceptances in waves as I believed up until moments ago?

Reading through last year's thread now. First of all, jesus christ there are a lot of posts! Like 8 pages on the first day of acceptances. Secondly, yes, 1 person reported an ED acceptance on 12/7, 1 person on Saturday 12/10. Then 12/12 is the day RD decisions went out, so after that it's hard to tell if any were ED.

It seems like we might have missed the boat, solely based on last year. Maybe they just didn't care enough about locking all of us sticker-paying fools into attending.

It's like a progression of phases. I start out positive so that I have the motivation to attempt things, transition to being negative so I won't be disappointed, then go back to being positive so I'm happy with whatever ends up happening.
