somewhat random question, has anyone who applied with a pending dec lsat been accepted?I'm above 75th percentile in both, and I'm starting to question my life as well as my applications, trying to allow myself to hope that maybe they forgot about some apps.

A pending Dec LSAT? Or do you mean February? People with Dec LSAT scores have been accepted, yes.oscar11cheelsea wrote:somewhat random question, has anyone who applied with a pending dec lsat been accepted?I'm above 75th percentile in both, and I'm starting to question my life as well as my applications, trying to allow myself to hope that maybe they forgot about some apps.

Yeah man, just chill and enjoy. You're above both medians. They're not going to reject you unless you have some egregious fault. At the worst, you get YPed and hit them up saying you want to attend and all that. Next week may be the last week of mass decisions for a while so if nothing then, I'd get in contact.oscar11cheelsea wrote: Thanks, I'll keep in mind, hope your right!

seeing people with similar/better numbers in the same situation makes me feel (somewhat) better.
NYU's gotta keep their median LSAT somehow
They're being awfully picky. I still haven't heard back -- retaker w/ a high of 177 (and average of 171.3 if they even really play that game).
2nd UR on 12/6 and I'm getting ready to write it off, even though it's my top choice.

Do you have a below-25th GPA? It seems like that's the general trend of people who haven't heard back yet. There's a lot of evidence that they don't average, so I'm sure it's not your LSAT. I can't imagine them not ultimately accepting people with these types of stats. Hang in there!BalanceCare wrote:florida1949 wrote:176/3.5... no movement since 11/20

Thank you... My GPA is sort of a null factor because I went to a nontraditional undergrad. My undergrad and graduate records reflect well on me, but I don't have a reportable number. I'm interested to see how schools react... Thanks again for the encouragementph5354a wrote:Do you have a below-25th GPA? It seems like that's the general trend of people who haven't heard back yet. No problem! I'm sure with that LSAT, you'll have a lot of great options.BalanceCare wrote:Thank you... My GPA is sort of a null factor because I went to a nontraditional undergrad. Can someone please explain to me why it needs to be so soon? On LSN it looks like there was a steady stream of acceptances every week throughout February last year. Thanks in advanceLRGhost wrote:Next week may be the last week of mass decisions for a while so if nothing then, I'd get in contact.

Ah, I just looked at the graph on the front page. I figured next week would be it since it's the last day of applications for most schools so NYU will know what pool it's working with. But then again the other graph from the cycle before last shows a lot more movement in February.chadbrochill wrote:ph5354a wrote:I predict one last wave tomorrow. I'd much rather at least see some movement than have nothing since October...
