In the status checker, is there any check in front of early decision contract?

The admission office says that my contract has been added to my file, but the status checker doesn't show that there is a contract, normal?

Got mine this morning as well, and during work, I only logged in to change my PW and didn't look at it carefully, but I just noticed now that my status changed to "Application under review". That happen to anyone else? I didn't ED or anything... they're either really fast this cycle or that status doesn't mean much, just trying to verify which.

Cool, thanks, that's what I figured, good to know. Most schools seem to have that status set to "completed" for months before letting it go to under review, but I guess not here.

Yeah for most, but it's the same at UVA. Mine has been "under consideration" there for a couple of weeks now.

Hello all,

I have been a long time visitor to this site, but now that I have submitted all the applications that I intend to, I feel I have the time to start posting as well.

My numbers are: GPA: 3.61, LSAT: 167, 177

I want my cycle to be both proof and hope that softs can tip the scales in your favor when you are a splitter like me. I also believe that schools put the emphasis on the higher score, and hope my cycle goes on to show that as well.

I am applying to: Harvard, NYU, UChi, UMich, and Upenn.

Does anyone know if we need a Dean's Certification to apply? I was under the impression that we didn't but somebody said they thought you need one if you answer "Yes" to any of the Character and Fitness questions.

that's correct. I had a ridiculously silly C&F issue (missing chapel) and it required a letter from my Dean

there isn't a form. They just need a letter from the Dean.

I think the off-campus stuff will require whatever police report-type info you have.

Will know after Oct. GPA is 3.0-3.2 but hopefully I can score well enough on the LSAT + Why NYU to at least make a compelling argument for a waitlist and hustle from there.

I'm under review as well. I hope they send out some decisions in November.
