Is Berkeley worth sticker price? Got accepted but began to be worried about CoA....plus people said B is pretty stingy with their scholarship. It just made it worse...

Berkeley matches scholarship offers from the rest of T14 outside of Northwestern. I would attempt to leverage this and blanket the T14 (especially UVA this year).gabriella97 wrote:Is Berkeley worth sticker price? And this question is really relative... If you want to stay in Cali it's probably worth it, but that's me.

Thanks. Follow-up question. How likely is it for B graduates to break into V10 firms? What percentage?

The e-mail said we'd be getting a formal acceptance in the mail, and I want to hold something that will make me feel better about still waiting for ten other schools.
I emailed them today regarding the admission packages and they said that they would be mailing them out before the end of next week... I hope this is true.
In case you need numbers for your tallies, I was admitted on the 4th!

i don't think berkeley automatically matches, do they? They just review it like everyone else. its not best buyRegulus wrote:Yeah.... UVA is going to make Berkeley wish that the one school they omitted from their matching scholarship program wasn't NU this year.teiswei wrote:Berkeley matches scholarship offers from the rest of T14 outside of Northwestern. that is correct. they review and get back to you. no guarantees on exact match or match at all.ChampagnePapi wrote:i don't think berkeley automatically matches, do they? Until you read the details, it's not a bad assumption to make though.ChampagnePapi wrote: i don't think berkeley automatically matches, do they? They just review it like everyone else. its not best buy

Gah! This wait is killing me! I just got into a school I thought would take forever to here back from, yet I haven't heard back from Berkeley. I want to know! I went UR Nov 5, and I thought my numbers were pretty good, so now I'm really concerned.

Now that you've brought it up, is there any insight regarding the number of December test takers?
