There's gotta be a couple. I had some 173-4 / 3.9 friends rejected from Boalt during my cycle. I don't think they applied to SLS but they are at Harvard now.

I just started writing a "Why Berk?" Essay I can hopefully send them to attach to my file. I don't think my PS was adequate and these bloodbaths are making me scared.

My first rejection so far, and yes, first always hurts

I knew it coming (I have dismal GPA), but still Berkeley, I believed when you said holistic review...

Congratulations to those admitted! With that kind of weather you guys can never be too stressed. So jealous!

I've always thought Berkeley was like my cool older brother, but I designed my application this cycle for Stanford. We will see if that pays off.

First ding of the season. Extreme splitter with GPA < 3.3, so to be expected.

Still, it was sweet while it lasted.
