haha I think that if I get a JS1 at this point, I'm buying drinks for everyone after moving up to Cambridge!
And seriously congrats again to all, well deserved!

13! Congrats, curiouscat!
This seems to be the same number from the first wave of WL admits last year.
If you look at the Yale waitlist thread, this year between 5-10 people got accepted - much more than last year's 1-2 (TLS reported).
Harvard waitlistology models indicate that more slots will open up. But its a young science.

I predict at least 5 more JS1s will come out this week, due to increased Yale WL-admit activity over last year.

I don't think it will matter for us, but I guess it would be nice to know...

Does anyone know when Harvard's second deposit deadline is/was? Was it June 1st?

Just had the interview. She was very easy to talk to - went about 10 minutes. Now the exceptionally brutal wait.

Just had mine as well, she was really nice, went exactly 8:59 seconds haha. Not too worried about the wait now, that wait from 2pm to 2:53 when she called was the most brutal thing i've experienced in this entire admissions process.

Congrats guys for getting that over and done with. Did she ask you anything different from the standard questions people were getting in pre-waitlist interviews?

She asked if I would be able to make the move to HLS if I were admitted off the WL. Other than that, I'm guessing the interview questions were really similar to those in pre-WL interviews. No curveballs really - she was easy and pleasant to talk to.

This whole process makes waiting for the next season of GOT or Walking Dead fairly easy
.
*Hopefully we'll all be watching the new seasons in Cambridge...
