Waiting on Ole Miss... Help anyone? Forum

I applied a little later than ideal (March 1) because Miss. wasn't really on my radar given that I live in Texas and assumed I would stay here. However, things have changed and I now want to go to Ole Miss. Problem is I'm still waiting to get an acceptance/rejection letter, and yall can appreciate how stressful it is.

Anyone have any more information regarding this issue? It's pretty dang near the end of April so should I be hearing from them soon?

Contact Ole Miss admissions via email or phone & ask if your application is complete & when you can expect a decision. Good luck !

Are they really okay with that? Most people would advise against so-called "pestering," but I'm genuinely interested in their school!

Depends on your wording. Asking if your app is complete, reaffirming your interest & inquiring about a decision date are all fine if done once in a direct & concise fashion.

P.S. If Mississippi is your first choice, then that should be stated in your communication.

I have been complete since 1/28 and have heard nothing. Same boat for LSU, at least I have been in review there for a while. I thinking I might send another recomendation letter bc I am sending one to two schools that waitlisted me.

Ole Miss better hurry or I'll be forced to go to Fordham. Uggg the waiting is the hardest part.

I just went into "pre-evaluation" this morning...exactly three months after submitting my app. Hoping for the best. Good Luck to everyone else.
