Sorry guys. I swear I'm not this nuts. This is just a big part of my decision, I'm pretty much down to 2 schools.

Man they are seriously dropping the ball on this one. I cannot imagine what the hold up is on their end. Maybe they're revamping the scholarship packages to hand out more full rides. Maybe they're waiting to make offers until they have the full applicant pool in.

Maybe they're wanting some people to withdraw before they make offers.

We'll know soon. A Vandy person told me they sent out scholarships on Wednesday.

I was going to make hotel reservations for the March ASW ... and Vandy reimburses $50/night for 2 nights ... The places around Vandy are all in the neighborhood of $250/night ... insane.

Vandy is nice enough to reimburse airfare from Boston .. the only thing is that I am flying all over the country to get to Nashville and back (haha I guess that's what needs to be done to get the cheapest deal) .. The 50 dollar deal at Bennett sounds good, but the shared bathroom deal freaks me out a little (I am a bit weird like that) .. I think I will get a rental car, an find a place which is farther away from Vandy .. and I can hopefully find a better deal.

Regular envelope from Vanderbilt. 50K, which is what I was expecting. Showed up at the same time as my pool stick. Great batch of mail. Starting hailing 5 minutes later lol. I'm gonna say its a good sign it got in right before the storm. There was a kind of rainbow after the storm.

I'm in south Texas. My numbers are a little low, but I'm hoping meaningful softs will float me something. Or, I'm being overly optimistic.

I also didn't get anything today and live far enough away that I'll wait until Monday to be unhappy. I don't think my numbers are awesome, but they accepted me after having my app only 2 days. So they must like me right?
