Harvard 2012: No Hold, No KB1 (Forgotten)

Post by countercouper » Wed Jan 18, 2012 5:29 pm

I'm not sure if this is worthy of its own topic, but since it seems like the Harvard thread is dominated by people who have at least received holds, I wanted to create a thread for all of us who are still waiting to hear back something - anything - from Harvard.

One question I have is whether any KB1 emails have been sent this week or last week. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems odd that so much time would pass without any movement on the KB1 front.

Anyway, check in here if this describes you, and good luck! :D

I belong here, but edit the title to include the word "Forgotten" to make searching for this thread easier in the years to come, since last years thread defined this situation with that term.

This is me as well, although I am slightly below both medians so I am not too surprised.... I also didn't receive my complete email until 1/6 so maybe that means they just haven't gotten to those applications yet?

also in this club! barely above gpa median, at lsat median.

also still in undergrad which isn't great.

The completes are confusing to me. I went UR 12/7, received the complete email 12/15.

Here too. 12/6 complete. I'm way below with both but I wanted an even reachier school than all my other reach schools

This thread should honestly be for November submits and earlier.... also, you should check LSN to see if anyone else with your dates has heard already.

In the club. Got the complete email 12/8/12. I'm not sure if anyone with that complete date has gotten held or rejected yet. Traditional splitter with a 3.6 and 178.

Elendil, what is your complete date if you don't mind?

Also in the 12/8 complete group.
Haven't heard anything.
I'm right around medians (slightly above GPA, slightly below LSAT), so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that somebody really likes my PS.

It seems that a number of us are 12/8 completes.
Have there been many KB1s yet for the 12/8 complete group?

Yes, there certainly are a lot of us.

I have not heard of any KB1s among us, for what it's worth.

I wish there was a KB1 column on LawSchoolNumbers to make it easier to track.

You should email them and tell them. They're looking for feedback for when they re-do the site.

Check LSN, people with later complete dates than 12/8 have gotten in. Honestly every day that goes by that I don't get dinged is a moral victory for me. 8)

You're right. I just went back and checked again (its been a while since I visited the site and did any thorough searching) and there are several people that have been accepted with complete dates on or after 12/08.

My last UR date is 11/29. I'm assuming they just forgot to send me the ding email

I've been "under review" since 12/14, and that's the last date listed for me. Received my "complete" email 12/22, though...

Under Review since November 22. Really just waiting for my really expensive rejection letter I paid for. You never know though.... I have a really strange PS and it just might catch someone's attention.. Good luck to everyone who actually has the numbers to stand a chance!
