Submitting a 4th LOR?

I'm thinking about soliciting another LOR, this time from a professor who is an HLS grad. We have a good relationship and I think he could comment specifically and effectively about my being suited to legal study at a top law school. The only thing is that it would be my 4th LOR. I know some schools have a limit of 3... is it worth getting the 4th letter? Would it be totally out of bounds to snail mail a 4th LOR to a school with a 3 letter limit?
