Mid Year Update?
What is the general thought on sending an updated transcript or letter with dean's list, honor affiliated things at the end of fall semester? I don't want to annoy but any increase in GPA could/ might / might not make a difference.
Would appreciate any thoughts on this matter.
Thanks.

Does lsac automatically send that info to schools or should I wait to submit my apps until after the transcript arrives

So even after your report is sent, if something is updated they'll send a new report?

Yes.kroakstool wrote:So even after your report is sent, if something is updated they'll send a new report?
They list the kind of updates that will trigger a new update to be automatically sent. These include, new LSAT score, updated transcripts, corrected transcripts etc.

Just to clarify for the OP, does LSAC automatically receive and resend your updated transcript OR do you have to ask your UG to mail LSAC another? Does this work differently for fall grades than it does for one's final GPA in the spring?Blessedassurance wrote:Yes.kroakstool wrote:So even after your report is sent, if something is updated they'll send a new report?

At least for the undergraduate schools I attended, you would need to tell the school to send LSAC more transcripts. It would not be done automatically.

No, you need to have your school send it to LSAC the same way you sent your first transcripts. You (re)print the LSAC transcript form, give it to your school etc, and LSAC updates their system upon receipt and automatically sends another report to schools to which you have already applied. This is for both fall grades and final gpa etc.TylerM wrote:Just to clarify for the OP, does LSAC automatically receive and resend your updated transcript OR do you have to ask your UG to mail LSAC another? Note that some schools may prefer that you have your official transcripts sent directly to them (off the top of my head, I know Columbia does that for Fall grades). For these schools, you simply request that your transcripts be sent directly from your school to whatever address the school you're applying to, gives you.
Most schools however prefer that you send directly it to LSAC.
