yea, just read it. wasn't too impressed. The information was pretty ambiguous and seemed like it was trying to please everyone, but idk.

i went to undergrad in upstate NY and it is fuckin cold.

My concern exactly. I really like one of their Joint JD programs that is pretty unique to Syracuse. My only concern is that Syracuse is likely just one of those programs that relies on their strong Ugrad reputation

good idea with the joint degree program. i forgot which program it was, but one of their joint degree programs is ranked very high, possibly the best in the country. you should look into it

I was thinking, Library Science for a joint degree. They're number 3 on US World Report, but I think there are a ton of Library Science people jobless etc.

yep. I applied in the middle of October and got the email confirming my application and that it was complete on October 28. I have yet to receive any login information for a status checker. Perhaps they are the only school that doesn't have a status checker?

According to previous threads, they do not have status checkers and decisions start coming out early/mid Jan by mail. I believe they e-mail you when a decision is made and the package is mailed.

I got this too. I don't think it means anything, as I got this same thing from Wisconsin the day after they received my application. I did get a message saying my app was complete from Syracuse today though

Just got that financial aid e-mail as well. Gave me a start.

I also activated the "MySlice" account using the info in the e-mail, and logged on to my account. There was a link on my user profile for the "Admission Acceptance Form" - however it couldn't be displayed.

It may behoove you to check LawSchoolNumbers.com. As for me, I am sitting with a fee waiver for Syracuse, but still haven't applied. We shall see...

Here's to hoping for decision letters sometime this week. LSN indicates that first decisions went out around this time last year.
