Yeah, if it's any assurance I submitted pre-thanksgiving, went complete and "ready for review" early december and no movement since then.

Hey @Kess, know of any paralegal openings at your firm? I'm a paralegal in Iowa, applied to BLS and waiting for the decision. Agree with you completely about working through school and am hoping to find a place close to the school if I get in!!

Status just updated... In Review as of this morning, 1/15. I'm surprised they're updating this sort of thing on a Sunday before a holiday. But, not complaining!

hey brupe... sorry just saw this now.... no not at the moment, they are not. However, as someone with experience slated to enroll in law school, your prospects for finding a para job in nyc are solid.

Lol... well if you have the status checker app (which I do), it loads automatically when I turn on my pc. Zork, you also applied PT right?

Indeed I did. I am also a paralegal (which is not the most unique background experience judging by this thread) and I grew up in New York City. I currently reside out of state, but given the opportunity to attend such an awesome school like BLS I would move back in with my parents. I want to continue working full time (hopefully) as a paralegal.

LOL, guilty. I check the status of my apps constantly... even on weekends. It's sad, I know.

And, I was surprised that I went under review already. I just went complete on 1/6, I thought it would take longer; hoping this is a good omen.
