Give them a call tomorrow, and ask if there was any other info they needed from you, and express your continuing interest in the school.pret wrote:I feel like I've waited longer than people on LSN...

Re: Baltimore Law 2015
Hmm, it's weird. They haven't made decisions since mid-December so I guess it's not just me. It wasn't that way last year. I'm tired of reading, "Your application is complete" every time I log on.stephinmd wrote:Give them a call tomorrow, and ask if there was any other info they needed from you, and express your continuing interest in the school.pret wrote:I feel like I've waited longer than people on LSN...

I recently got accepted to UB--no email, just checked the MyUB portal and it was on there! Looks like they are making decisions right now!

How did you guys get your Myub portal? I was accepted with an email and packet in the mail and still have not received one yet.

It was in the very first email they sent me, when they confirmed receipt of my application.evenflow wrote:How did you guys get your Myub portal? I was accepted with an email and packet in the mail and still have not received one yet.

Re: Baltimore Law 2015
Hey there!
Congrats to everyone who was accepted!
I actually got in in the beginning of December. As of now, I'm pretty sure I'll be at UB
(Still waiting to hear from a few reach schools)
Anyone else know they're attending?
I was trying to find a facebook group but wasn't able to. If there isn't one yet, we should make one!
Also, are any of you familiar with the area and have insight/opinions on the apartment complexes in the area?
Good luck to all who're still waiting to hear back!

Mount Vernon has a lot of good properties to rent. Depending on your budget you may want to look at Bozzuto or Southern Management properties for an apartment. They are a bit pricey (but pretty damn awesome) If not http://www.mvpapartments.com/ has a ton of listings in the area around UB.apslaw1031 wrote:Hey there!

Also, if you live anywhere on the purple circulator line you can get to/from class without a car.

My application has been stuck on complete for several weeks now. I believe they said it may take up to 4 weeks for them to render a decision, which isn't that far from now. At what point do you guys think I should give the school a call? Any incite?
It didn't take this long in previous years, according to LSN...

I don't think it could hurt to call (or email. I think email is better) and ask if they need anymore information from you and let them know of your interest in hearing back from them.pret wrote:My application has been stuck on complete for several weeks now. I seem to remember reading on their website somewhere that they don't look at scholarship stuff until Feb.rmb21590 wrote:will scholarship info. (if any) be in the acceptance packet? does anyone know?

thanks! are you definitely attending UB? I'm still waiting on additional decisions but UB is a top choice for me! The in-state tuition is hard to beat.

Duly noted! I hope they're good in responding. I'm very impressed with Maryland's swift response rate.stephinmd wrote:I don't think it could hurt to call (or email. You guys mind sharing when your apps went complete? I've been waiting for some time now . Also, when did they send the email?

I went complete way back in mid-November and got an acceptance email on 12/6. The letter came a few days later.pret wrote:You guys mind sharing when your apps went complete? I've been waiting for some time now . Also, when did they send the email?
Did you try emailing the admissions office? At first I was thinking you should call, but after mulling it over, I think an email would be better. You could simply state that you haven't seen any change to your application's status for quite a while, you are still very interested in UB, and if there's anything that seems to be missing from your file, you'd be happy to provide it. Idk, something along those lines.

Re: Baltimore Law 2015
So searching through this forum, I saw that some people got status tracker emails, I was wondering how long after you applied you got your email with your status tracker information. I applied on Monday 1/30 and havent heard anything from UBalt only the LSAC information. Now I hate waiting (which has been hell starting with the LSAT up until now with 3 apps in). So I figured I would ask before I emailed or called them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
