I submitted by application 11/24 and have been checking that status page, but it says the school still hasn't received my letters of recommendation, but all of the other schools I've applied to have received them. Should I be worried, or should I contact the school? Not sure if I should wait a little longer. Good luck to everyone applying!

I would double check your credentials page on LSAC and make sure you assigned your letters to Ohio state. I missed the letters on one of my schools this way.lawschool16 wrote:I submitted by application 11/24 and have been checking that status page, but it says the school still hasn't received my letters of recommendation, but all of the other schools I've applied to have received them. Finished my last final of my first semester at Moritz today meaning I won't have study-guilt when I spend time on TLS. I'll be around if you guys have any questions about OSU

I'm cautiously optimistic. One thing about law school - you will study at a level you have not yet experienced. Really, it's crazy.charliep wrote:how did finals go?lifestooquick wrote:Finished my last final of my first semester at Moritz today meaning I won't have study-guilt when I spend time on TLS. Re: Ohio State Applicants (2011-12) Cycle
I live in Victorian Village/Harrison West and I love it! I'm only 2 miles from the law school but away from the more crime-ridden areas and away from the undergrad party areas. A good place to check for listings is http://metro-rentals.com/ Some other good areas are Clintonville and Grandview, they're a bit further away. In the campus area, I wouldn't look anywhere east of High St.pakman1 wrote:Any recommendations for housing?
The school will push the South Campus Gateway apartments. They are extremely convenient since they're are next door to the law school but they are pretty expensive especially for their size.

Congrats! Unfortunately the top awards they give don't seem to differ between in-state and out-of-state students, but if you decide to come here, you'll probably be able to get in-state your 2L and 3L years. (There are some things you have to do, but I've heard many are successful.)mooseman2216 wrote:in via email at about 11 am cst!

Re: Ohio State Applicants (2011-12) Cycle
Still in review, but I just noticed that they listed me as "out of state" even though I've lived in Ohio my whole life except for undergrad and keep my permanent address at my parent's house in Ohio. Guess I'll need to talk to someone about that if I decide to go...

Congrats to all the new admits! Did anyone else receive an email about the Moritz Merit Scholarship for full in-state plus a stipend?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
