I'm in the same position as you. I tend to be an optimist by nature and have seen people wait listed with better numbers with similar application dates. If anything it might mean they are on the fence about us whether wait list or reject or admit or wait list. The wait is pretty whack though, since I'd like to have my situation planned out early hence an early application. Oh well....such is law school admissions during an applicant down turn. Hopefully they get the message that some of us have other options and a delay only makes current choices look better.

Applied on 11/30, but asked to wait until Dec. LSAT scores

Just got the wait list in the mail and promptly withdrew. (I'll never settle for being second best...sorry for the venting)

I went complete 11/22 so idk what took them so long. It's Jon of sad since it was seriously a few minutes away. Guess my UIUC acceptance will comfort me. Best of luck to you guys!

I'm not sure. I was born and raised in Orange County and don't particularly want to go back, but then again, Orange County is desperate for an elite law program to pick from and I really like what they have done so far. Right now they only have Chapman, which is not ideal. Also, from what I gather, OC firms really want UCI to prosper and with that, they are definitely trying to take all of the new UCI kids in. I like the idea of going to a new school where they are very involved and really want you to succeed.

Really, I just don't know if I can handle waiting until May/June to know where I'm going to school. I'm definitely keeping it an option and am very interested.

Good luck to you, and I hope you receive and more favorable result than I did.

Accepted day before yesterday via email. So psyched! I'm really hoping for a scholly offer with my acceptance packet because I'd love to go here. I visited the school in Nov and absolutely loved what I saw and have only come to like it more since then.
