The email I got says deposit due by August 24th but then at the top of the status checker it says April 13th- I'm assuming well get an email clearing things up sometime today. Or at UNCs rate maybe by April 14th.

The email says $350 is due by August 2011, so I am assuming that is incorrect and that the information on the status checker is more accurate--
Congratulations on your admission to the UNC School of Law! Very shortly you will receive an email and letter in the mail that explains what steps you need to take in order to reserve your seat in the Fall 2012 class. those of you who got in today/last week (if there were any?) mind sharing stats? I'm ~75th LSAT and ~25th GPA (due to bad first undergrad semester) with strong softs, but OOS non-URM...kind of surprised I haven't heard anything.

I haven't heard anything either - above 75th LSAT and above median GPA, OOS non-URM. I feel your pain

On that same boat, complete since November. I figured it was at best a WL, so I already made a commitment elsewhere. Good luck to those still playing the waiting game.bruinsfan4 wrote:pbfoot wrote:those of you who got in today/last week (if there were any?) mind sharing stats? thanks for the info y'all...from this small sample it seems like today's round may have been the remaining in-staters, here's hoping that is actually the case!

I'm OOS and only 3.4 GPA but a 169 LSAT. Thought that would help here but I'm still stuck at complete too.

For those of you who went to the first addmitted students day,
Was there any UNC Law apparel for sale at the event?
I have looked everywhere for a UNC Law sweatshirt for my dad and have not found one.

I couldn't really find anything. I think, however, that some of the student organizations/clubs may have some for sale.UNClaw2015 wrote:For those of you who went to the first addmitted students day,

Tarheel19932005 wrote:That is not always true. My status went straight from complete to accepted. I was never "under review" and trust me I checked. However I did turn my application in the 2nd week they started taking them and I was accepted back in December. So hang in there ., . ..[quote/]

Also, congratulations on your acceptance! Have you decided to attend?
Thank you,
I have decided to attend, I was debating between Duke and UNC, but UNC offered me a full-scholarship as a chancellors Scholar, and I just could not justify $150,000 at Duke compared to $0 at UNC. I also love the school and the people there, everyone has been extremely helpful and pleasant.
Good luck on your acceptance, I honestly believe it does take them longer because they thoroughly look at everyone’s application. They are also super busy and have a ton of apps.
They did not send out the invitations for the scholarship competition until 2 weeks before the event. And some people were out of state and it started on a Friday. To me that is a good example of how busy they are and that just because they have not gotten to you in a timely fashion does not mean they do not want you.

Yea, there were a few organization-geared shirts (Pro Bono program was selling shirts, as was the Hispanic Law Group (?) and a few others). I didn't see any generic Carolina Law stuff.PurplePirate wrote:I couldn't really find anything. And yeah, it was the Hispanic Law group, among others. I don't specifically remember which others, though.
