Visited Fordham yesterday and loved it unfortunately! WLed kid over here. I did go to the office of admissions to make sure they got my LOCI and to ask if there was anything else I could do. She said it was pretty much a waiting game at this point, which I think we all knew. There will be some movement in May after the first deposit deadline but the majority of movement will be in June. I'm sure someone else has already said this on the thread but since this just happened yesterday I thought I'd let my fellow WLers know

On that note, waiting is KILLING me.

I found out by seeing an email telling me about the admitted student website. Seemed pretty pro.

I'm guessing I might have a voicemail at home? Or does Fordham just not believe in formal acceptance communications?

On status checker, I'm rejected since last week but why haven't I received an email or letter about this? Do they only communicate via snail mail? Or do they just not care enough to tell me directly?!

Nevermind, just saw this at the bottom: "deny letter mailed" what a waste of paper!

For those that are WL'd and considering a june retake to boost their admissions case, are you holding off LSAT registration until right up to deadline (mid may) in hopes that you hear a favorable decision prior?

I just received an email notifying me of a scholarship for $5,000 a year. Is this one of Fordham's good scholly's or can I barder for more?

If you have leverage than by all means ask for more. When were you admitted?? And congrats

I was admitted abt 2 weeks ago

Only leverage I got is a fully scholly from Carodozo...

I was dinged at Penn, Columbia and NYU

from what i've heard you may only be able to barter for another 5k...depending on your stats

i got 15 i dont think i can really barter for more, maybe the full ride from dozo can leverage alittle more

Fordham doesn't consider 'Bozo leverage.
The only things that can be leveraged are LSAT and GPA (got this from the horse's mouth)
Even then, it's unlikely for them to increase by more than $5k, if at all.
What are the stips for your full ride at clown college?

I had the same situation, almost full rides at W&L and Emory, and Fordham would not negotiate.

Not unless you have the stats to warrant a higher scholly.
Fordham only compares your stats to their average, not to competitive offers
(they told me quite frankly that schollys are used to buy higher stats. They don't have as much money for merit aid, so they don't get into bidding wars
