I've been thinking about it since I got a fee waiver. Stetson seems to have a decent alumni base and some regional respect. Does anyone know how cost of living is in the area?

It should be pretty cheap. Campus is nice and location is near the beach and Rays stadium. I applied to see if they would give me any money, but I doubt it since it doesn't look like they offer that much.

COL is relative. Low when compared to NYC, DC, SF & LA, but high when compared to Detroit & Compton.

That's surprising. What makes you think they don't offer much? My only source of info is LSN, and someone close to my numbers (4.0/163) from last year's cycle reported 104k which I assume is apx. full tuition.

I sent my app. on oct 3rd. With a 3.95 and 156 lsat I don't know how good my scholarship chances are. I will probably get my 1 yr MBA if it doesn't work out. All depends. I wish they would start reviewing applications and make some decisions.

Why not retake? a 3.95 and a 166 and you'd be looking at T14. Even with a 162 you'd be able to get money from UF, FSU, Miami.

You have a shot. Two people on LSN with 161 or lower got scholarships.

I would think a school that isn't ranked and is 4th in the state of Florida would throw a lot of money to people with 160+. However, on LSN the 09-10 cycle seems a lot more generous with scholarships so maybe the accounts on LSN for the last cycle were a misrepresentation. The school is nice and if you plan on working in the St. Pete and Tampa area I heard it does place well.

I applied on October 6th and just got an email acceptance

! My acceptance package is in the mail and I'm hoping I got scholarship money!
I have a 165 LSAT and a 3.73 GPA. What do you think the chances are for a full scholarship?

I also received an email acceptance today. I've heard that scholarship info doesn't come out until late January, in a separate FedEx package. I'm nervous about how good my chances are at a scholarship with a 156 and 3.95. Looking for outside scholarships in the meantime....
