Re: Emory c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Me? I don't really have a preference as to where I want to practice. I was accepted into UGA, just waiting for scholarship information. Its tough because I'm deciding between 45k in debt at Emory, or 1 of 3 full rides at lower ranked schools. Its a nice situation to be in, but still a tough decision.
JustE wrote:Judging from your profile, it looks like you're in/want to work in ATL? Not feeling UGA/Vandy/Duke?cutecarmel wrote:LOL! I'm like who are they talking about?!?
I went complete around mid September...I pretty much thought that they forgot about me. This is definately going to make my decision tougher

Is it just Georgia residents who have received the letter so far?

Another reach for me. But we'll see. With the combination of my cycle being so weird and Emory's slowness I'll probably hear some time in... July.

The only thing worse is being 166 and a 3.6
The evil combination of three 6s must be the reason that Notre Dame hates me.

We have similiar numbers and applied to many of the same places. I was also dinged at GW and WL at W & L. Good luck at Emory.john1990 wrote:wouldn't 166/3.6 be strong for emory

Alas, I haven't been accepted either (applied in September, with good numbers).
it's far too early to lose hope, though, since Emory doesn't seem to have admitted that many yet.

Here's a graph from last year of people who self submitted their scores and results. LSP is not a very accurate source if you test it against schools reported mediansGail wrote:LSP has it as consider. I'm not very optimistic about "consider"john1990 wrote:wouldn't 166/3.6 be strong for emory

For those with a 166, I applied with a similar LSAT score and got the acceptance letter last week. Emory's median LSAT last year was a 165, so a 166 is nothing to worry about!john1990 wrote:Here's a graph from last year of people who self submitted their scores and results.
