Any speculation as to why those stuck in the way distance past still have no decision mailed date? Perhaps they are waiting to see how many withdrawals there are?

I applied on 1/9, and I have a 1/13 complete date. It wouldn't be reasonable for me to expect a decision soon .. would it?

Nope. Although it seems like a lot of people got boxes before their mailed date changed.

... Still, I'm feeling like its super unlikely that one of those boxes is mine.

I got an email on Jan 11th that my application was complete, and the dates were not updated on the status checker until this morning. There's some lag time between when it's posted online versus when it actually happens (i.e. when it's completed or decision has been mailed).

Not yet... with USPS not running yesterday I would figure the 1/13 would get either the box or a letter today or tomorrow

Yeah I would think today since they are generally shipped FedEx correct? They're not closed for federal holidays in general.

If it is a box it is FedEx, but if it is a WL or rejection it is snail mail

Hi Friends,
I received the black box yesterday via FedEx! So excited.
Submitted 11/29/2011; Complete 12/6/2011. Alumni interview in early December.
Good luck to all still waiting!

But just so this post is more than me complaining, I sent my app in 12/09 and received the box 1/11 in california.

11/07 ... with numbers at par for Vandy. I was looking at LSN and there have been several admits = and < than my numbers... And i have certainly gone above and beyond many other applicants to let Vandy know I am interested
