I emailed admissions today about when to expect decisions and this is the email they sent:

"Thank you for your question. We will be reviewing applications this month and sending out the first decisions in the weeks following on a rolling basis. Please let us know if you have additional questions."

It says "Note that you should not wait until you are admitted to law school to begin the financial aid application process. I encourage you to start applying for aid in January"

I sure hope I don't have to wait until after January for my decision.

I think I tossed the email, but I seem to remember they don't start looking at apps until mid-December. And according to LSN, the first decision last year was on the 22nd.

You will definitely get at least 18,000 emails and items of mail from them before you are admitted. And after, which will make you think "you DO know I already sent you my deposit, right?"

I'm currently a 1L here if you want to PM me questions. I may not answer till after next week, lol, but I will try after that.

I like the school, everyone really is as nice as they act. Even most of the professors. Lunch at the 'law school cafe' is usually pretty good too
The classrooms you spend the majority of 1L in have no windows though, that's the only downside. Windows are for 2Ls and 3Ls.

Everyone gets the emails, and the large envelopes of promotional documents in the mail, that are just plain mean. Seriously, how does a school ranked so highly in environmental law send out so many paper mailings?

Checking in as well. L&C is a school I've been interested in since the beginning since it's got an amazing environmental law program and is located in Portland, the city I want to live in. If I don't get some T14 schollys I will probably wind up here and no doubt love it.

Updated today 12/12. I wonder when acceptances will begin to roll out? Portland is SO beautiful, but I don't really know if I'm into environmental law

Same here! No idea what it means, either.

mine was finaly update 12/19 but nothing else changed besides the date ( I have been complete since 11-1)

My status is still "Complete 11/21/2011" and all of my requirements are still at the bottom, so maybe that means you're close to hearing something?
