Sorry for all the WL'ers
Keep your head up, many of you have some really good numbers / I'm sure will (or will) be accepted to peer schools

Sorry to all those who got waitlisted. Now I'm convinced I'm going to be rejected, ugh.

They seem to be waitlisting splitters today. Since I didn't get a WL notice, I'm afraid of getting rejected. BU is my top choice as I'm interested in health law and PI. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid!freaknroll wrote:Why do you say that?ScoutFinch wrote:Sorry to all those who got waitlisted. Now I'm convinced I'm going to be rejected, ugh.

Re: Boston University c/o 2015 Applicants
hey all just signed up for this forum...
applied to only boston schools... suffolk NEU BC BU HLS...
169/3.65 so HLS obviously a pipedream.
focusing on BU mostly, got the admissions email but packet coming to parents house in cali as I moved during application process and only had a temporary address for them to use...
anyone know how much leveraging can be done with BU? I think I'm in their top 25% based on their metrics...
received 60k offer from NEU but their rank is low and co-op gets poo-poo'd by those saying suffolk's is even better if that's what you're looking for.
hoping for some kind of cash from BU to make the decision easy

So far everyone on there with LSAT > 166 that also has >3.24 GPA has been accepted. You'll be fine
Its just the people below the 167 median that are not doing so well sadly (besides those with really good GPAs)

I'm not sure but I don't think they're that open to it. There's no mention of negotiating scholly offers in my admissions' package.nathankilian wrote:hey all just signed up for this forum...

I have indeed. I feel very fortunate to have had such an awesome cycle. It just makes the decision so much harder.ThreeRivers wrote:You've had a great cycle man... definitely gives hope that lsat isn't everything to manyJoeMo wrote:45K in my package today. No nice note. Did anyone else's status just change slightly? It was just the header but it doesn't say exactly the same thing anymore. Am I being too neurotic?

They are supposedly actually quite good about negotiating scholarships reasonably. I don't know how far you would get with the NEU one, but it is worth a shot - you won't know unless you try. BC is supposedly very tough on negotiating with peer offers; BU is the opposite. (I haven't negotiated with either yet, so this is from rumors.)JoeMo wrote:I'm not sure but I don't think they're that open to it.
