It's looking more and more like we're on the WL. Not exactly sure why. No 12/6ers that I know of (besides TheLong, and he's a special snowflake) have numbers that point to a YP.
<3
Honestly, at this point, getting flat out rejected from BU/BC would, at least, make it easier to sell a move to NY or Chi to my girlfriend.
Just get back to me Boston!
Additionally, if Harvard decides I am a special snowflake that'd be the ideal situation.

Ah, you heard me!
I'm pulling for you for H. That LSAT score is crazy.

If I get WLed I will be thoroughly unhappy. My numbers aren't THAT bad, I've got some pretty legit softs, and I wrote a PS all about why I want to attend BU...what more do they want?

I did! I'm a little obsessive about these threads.
I'm hoping for H, but my 3.5 almost entirely precludes an acceptance. It's a longshot!

Oh, believe me, I won't be happy either. With a 3.5/170 I never thought I'd catch the WL. It's all speculation, but I'm not sure why they'd leave 12/6ers in the dust, especially considering it was the third update for many of us. But, who really knows?

For real? I hope not... maybe it's just different batches. you never know... i think that people tend to look too much into the update dates.

Look at my above post. It's all speculation, and I've got no backing to my claim.

Any idea when we'll start hearing about the public interest scholarships?

Perhaps we haven't heard anything yet because they loved us so much that they wanted to send us acceptance envelopes filled with exploding confetti which, naturally, was backordered over the holiday season. At least that's the lie I'm going to keep telling myself while BU takes it's sweet time deciding my fate haha

That's what I'm thinking with similar numbers (3.6/169). I won't be too happy if Killingly is correct ._.

What's the deal on LOCIs? Do people think they're necessary if you have not been deferred/ waitlisted ? Just to let them know you are still interested...

You usually wait until they tell you one way or another, but you can before then.

According to LSN an assload of people got in on 1/18 and 1/19 last year. 1/18 mainly, hopefully this holds true.

Is the consensus for BU that you need to update 2-3 times before getting your decision? Wondering if anyone was accepted after only one update

Got accepted back around December 1st (I believe). Still haven't heard a peep about scholarships. Is this standard or something I should look into?
Edit: Nvm, seems like it's unfortunately pretty normal.

Do you really want to go to BU? The only reason I ask is that you have awesome numbers and acceptances already, if you do get the WL its almost certaintly a YP.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
