Today I received an "admission decision letter" via email that simply said I'm being held for a second review, and that they "try to notify" by April 15. I'm hoping based on what I've seen from others that the notice is sooner rather than later.
I wouldn't expect anything for at least a month.

Went to "in review" today. Went complete 2/13. This whole law school thing is very nerve wracking.

Priority waitlist.. Is there anyway that I would somehow be accepted off the waitlist and be granted in state tuition equalizer?

I am thinking no but thought i'd ask.

If you are taken off the waitlist and accepted, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't give you a scholarship

Yea, I guess. I guess it becomes frustrating though when you've applied and heard nothing, while people who have applied after you have already received decisions. I applied in November, and I've been stuck in review with no change since 1/31. Still keeping hope alive, just really frustrated hope.

I've been trying to decide if staying on the waitlist is actually worth my time or not. I'd love to go to GSU but the letter I got said it could be as late as August that I would hear something (guessing i'm not on the priority wait list, oh well). I just can't see it being worth my time to wait it out that long for a part-time evening program when I have a full scholarship at Mercer. It's kind of sad, because I don't want to withdraw my app though...

I just don't understand how I'm not even in review yet when people who applied after me are already in/denied. How can it have anything to do with my stats if I haven't even been reviewed yet? I'm into my other top choice with money but still GSU might be the school for me, and I don't want be denied because there are not many spots left because they haven't put my file in review for almost two months, whereas some people are having crazy turnarounds. I don't get it.

I would wait for the deposit due date for Mercer, and if you haven't heard back from GSU by then, I would take the full ride at Mercer.

Looking at last year's thread, there seemed to be awards noted in PAWS in mid-March.

Wow. I thought I had it bad being stuck "in review" for over two months while people with numbers similar to mine who applied later in the cycle already received admissions decisions. I just hope that they get to our applications soon before all the seats are taken.

PAWS! I totally forgot about PAWS! Just another thing to hit refresh on while waiting to hear back about every thing from every school... neurosis seems to be a coping mechanism for law school... at least that has been my experience so far.

I wonder if they can see how obsessive we are....and if they can would it necessarily be frowned upon. I would think obsessiveness is an asset.

Oh, and if you get really bored with hitting refresh, there is LexisNexis access through the Ulearn button in Paws. Good for 0L reading.

I already have Lexis Nexus through work and undergrad (May 2012!!) - but I didn't have access to all that study preparation stuff (other than google) ... I just spent most of my morning studying - studying! That's a really neat little setup they have there - I wonder if the other schools have something similar?

It's probably a good thing that they let us in there to fool around because it really made me feel more connected to the school- I wanted to sign up for relay for life!

They probably don't track the obsessiveness of students - so many have/will be for so many different reasons that it's probably just futile. But.. if they do... they know I have no life.
