Northeastern c/o 2015 applicants
Couldn't find a thread for this and figured I'd start one. I just sent in my application for Northeastern a couple of days ago. Anybody else applying this cycle? :]

Unrelated: I'm listening to the TRON: Legacy soundtrack and yr icon is clapping in time with the music. I'm fairly alarmed.Nulli Secundus wrote:They should merge to stop confusing sleepy people.JamMasterJ wrote:Northeastern =/= Northwestern, champNulli Secundus wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 7&t=162897

Anyone else still have "incomplete file" showing up on status checker, despite having submitted everything?

Same boat. I meant to stop by admissions and ask what was up (I was in Boston this weekend), but forgot.kickthebcket wrote:Anyone else still have "incomplete file" showing up on status checker, despite having submitted everything?

Does Northeastern Law have some sort of scholarship for Northeastern undergraduates?

Re: Northeastern c/o 2015 applicants
I have no idea...BUT, I just visited NEU campus last weekend/this past week, and I did a tour thing and I remember the tour guide (a 2L, iirc) mentioning that they didn't have too, too much in the way of scholarship aid...BUT, I could be mistaken. I'd say that calling either the admissions or fin aid offices would be best. :3tuco wrote:Does Northeastern Law have some sort of scholarship for Northeastern undergraduates?

I've applied Incomplete b/c the wonderful LSAC still has to process my recs, but that hopefully won't take them too much more time. Looking forward to hearing from them!

Re: Northeastern c/o 2015 applicants
I tried to apply today using my fee waiver (that I received a week and a half ago) and got a message on LSAC that the coupon number entered was expired. Sent an e-mail to admissions and crossing my fingers they'll send me a new one. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm on the fence about that. I might apply, but I'm not sure yet.naw wrote:So, uh, who here is applying for PILS?

Did anyone get an email today about a Social Justice Scholarship opportunity? I was on the fence about applying, but this piques my interest.

Re: Northeastern c/o 2015 applicants
Same. I'll sit on it for a little longer. I just feel like my numbers aren't impressive enough for such a fancy scholarship, and my work thus far hasn't been blatant public interest, just stuff sort of related. So now that I write that out, prob not.vpintz wrote:I'm on the fence about that. I might apply, but I'm not sure yet.naw wrote:So, uh, who here is applying for PILS?

Fair enough...my background/resume is all public interest all the time, but as you said, my numbers are not the most impressive, so...we'll see, I suppose. :3puremorning wrote:Same. Re: Northeastern c/o 2015 applicants
I'm hoping to hear back from them EA by mid-December (though they say mid-January...sigh). If its an admit at sticker, I'll more than likely apply. I don't have the best case, but they say on the site they're willing to accept any volunteer/PI stuff going back to high school, so that'll certainly help my case.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
