I don't know about the others, but I got an email about 2 minutes after I checked the Iowa site.

Sounds like they're hard at work on Melrose today.

Do you guys know how scholarship/financial aid notification works? Going into this cycle I was under the impression that when they sent an acceptance letter, it included your scholarship offer (if applicable). My Marquette acceptance letter, however, said that the scholarship distribution committee doesn't even meet to consider awards until Feburary. Does Iowa do something similar? I'm just wondering when they notify scholarship recipients of any aid. None of this is to assume I will be recieving a scholarship, but rather to know what the actual price of tuition will be so I can begin the decision process as early as possible.

The initial acceptance letter I received on Friday acted as if scholarship information would be sent out within a week or two.

It depends on your numbers and such. I got a letter telling me I was being considered for a scholarship a week or so after my acceptance (or maybe it was with the acceptance packet that came a week or two after the email?) However, I didn't hear about my scholarship until early February. I was a pretty extreme splitter though.

So people heard right away. It sounds like they do rolling scholarship offers. So, in short... Who knows?

I applied in February or March two cycles ago and got a scholarship in March or April.

I cant find the exact dates, but searching through gmail, it looks like I sent it on Oct. 28th and they received it on Nov. 3rd. It went into review within a few days.

That sucks. I can't figure out their system. It seems that once you are in review they look at them in order, but getting to be in review baffles me.
