BC is just a bit unpredictable...
Each year, their LSN graphs always seem to have WL/Rejections sprinkled into green areas (http://bc.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/1011/) so I thought they might just be super picky with essays. However, I made a fairly obvious typo on my personal statement to them and still got in so I don't understand their reasoning at all. FWIW, I'm also a non-MA resident.

Thank you very much Marmot!! It was a pleasant surprise to read your comment this morning!! You know, I really feel that the values, tradition and mission of the school align with my own. Not to mention, I believe the program is far more superior than the numbers (ie. rankings) would suggest. I just hope they feel the same way about me:) **fingers crossed**marmot8 wrote:This is incredibly positive and kind...you'd fit in great at BC! Anyone else just get an email about the "Public Service Scholarship Application"? I assume they're sending these to all applicants...

Yeah, I'm considering applying for it, but I probably don't have a chance.

I got the email and I withdrew weeks ago. I hope they had the decency not to send it to people who were rejected.

I got the email. I hate when my heart starts throbbing when I see an email from these schools.

I, too, was updated for the fourth time today. I submitted/was complete on 11/23. Complete again (under review) on 12/8, 12/14, and again 1/3.
You should definitely stay positive. I like your attitude

I recently received a hold from BC, but then updated again today and it says "Decision Rendered" on the status checker. I don't recall whether or not it said this when I received the hold the first time. Anyone know anything?

Yeah, mine still reads "decision rendered" with a date of 12/22/11. Mine didn't update today, so not sure what that means for you.tadlbb wrote:I recently received a hold from BC, but then updated again today and it says "Decision Rendered" on the status checker. Decision rendered (1-6). How long should I expect to wait for it?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
