It appears that they're updating their status checkers to "Congratulations, admit packet mailed!" and then a couple days later you get on through snail mail...

i found out via status checker and then got an email a few days before i got anything in the post

I found out via regular mail, which was followed by an email. It sounds like the status checker comes first. I wasn't on top of mine, so I didn't find out that way

Nope, mine still says that but under the mailings it says "admit packet mailed"

Thanks. Nothing new under my mailings. W&M is pretty high on my list, and I'm significantly above both their 75th GPA and LSAT numbers, so I figured I had a good shot at admittance. Hope I didn't get dinged.

My online app profile didn't even have a "Status" until today. Now it has the same thing as you "Complete/Will Send Decision By April 1".

I'm guessing it just means our Application is Complete & they will tell us by April 1 at the latest. I hope for everyone's sanity that it is much sooner than that.

I saw the status checker, then got the admit packet 2 days later, and then a few days after that an email. It was a little backward IMO. But, hey it's still all good!

The actual status does not change, but under the "Mailings" section it will say "Congratulations, admit packet mailed"

I got $6,000/year, I was hoping they'd at least bring me down to In-State tuition levels but didn't.

Either way, now this just solidifies the fact that I'm pretty much going to UMich since W&M didn't give me any $, I doubt anyone else will.

You've got to be kidding me. Your stats alone are auto admit for W+M, PLUS you are URM. Also, what's with the secrecy when you've posted your stats multiple times in other threads already?

I think you read TLS and are smart enough to know that your stats will not give you "no chance anywhere" and in fact makes you competitive almost everywhere.

It's just obnoxious. People think that by playing themselves down they will enjoy the thrill of being TOTALLY SHOCKED when their inevitable acceptances roll in.
