Does Georgetown give merit aid? Or is it just PILS and need based?

Georgetown does give merit aid beyond PILS according to some alumni I spoke with. They just don't have a reputation for being particularly generous with it.

I just tried generating a username and password, and it worked!! Please don't let this be a joke.....

I have to say, suddenly there are a lot of us able to generate passwords... Are we sure there isn't some kind of change to the system that has made it always generate passwords when they are requested? Are there still lots of you who can't generate passwords?

Haha, this would be a cruel twist of fate if the ASW thing was no longer a sign of admission. I'd have to call my dear old grandmother back and tell her I didn't get into Gtown after all... that would suck...

No -- I tried quite a few times, too, so if you're able to generate, I wouldn't worry.

GULC admits 2500 applicants for 500 slots. The slew of recent individuals able to generate PW's should not raise any flags that there is a glitch in the system. There will be very many people admitted, and if 50 of those are on TLS, it really isn't too surprising.

I can't imagine what an application cycle would be like without knowing the ins and outs that TLS provides, like workarounds to determine one is admitted!

i also got into michigan, but haven't heard back from georgetown. guess i should be expecting my ding soon!
