Is everyone being interviewed considered a "borderline candidate"? I am above the 75th percentile for GPA and above median LSAT, really hoping that isn't the case...

Aren't you "other hispanic"? Possible you got a boost maybe, but you're at one median so you're not that borderline either.

Wow that makes me nervous now I considered myself to be in a strong position for Gtown but no interview while others with good numbers are getting them :( Did you guys have multiple LSATs or something?

Only one LSAT here. I live in DC though and the email referenced my "ties to the DC area," so maybe that's it?

I think location plays a role in who gets interviews. If you don't live in the DC area and if there are no alum near you... how could you possibly interview?

Georgetown does Skype, I think. I wish Northwestern would get in on this Skype action.

Yeah. There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting an interview and, IMO, it means your application is, at the very least, being considered. Not getting an interview is a total coin flip. Interestingly enough, some of the main reasons why I thought I was offered an interview (multiple LSATs, re-applying) didn't even come up in during the conversation. If anything, I brought it up myself to cover the bases, so to speak.

You're getting in. I know it, because we have the same numbers and are applying to the same schools. I'll see you at ASW.

I live in a highly populated area in California, I doubt there's no Gtown alumni here....

oh well hopefully I get a present when I get home from work today (from Gtown, not from the University of Richmond Law)

Below lsat 25% and above gpa median with a group interview. Very strange.

I was part of the 11/16 complete with interview request. Still haven't heard from my interviewer. Is this normal for other folks?

I went complete with an interview request on the 16th as well and I already had my interview. I think others have as well. The email did say it could take up to a few weeks to hear from someone though IIRC. Still, at this point you may want to consider following up with them.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
