How soon before admitted students can expect getting their letters in the mail?

Sorry to hear about the reserves and rejections, guys.

Has anyone else who was admitted via status checker not received an email yet? (I'm afraid they're joking...) :P

Congratulations to the new admits! And sorry to hear about the reserves/dings.

Didn't Cornell say they would try to have all the finaid letters sent by today or am I imagining things? I'm trying to be patient but if I don't have an e-mail by the end of the day I'm going to be sad.

I checked the 09's thread of Cornell reserved. There were not any move until June.

My file has not moved even a bit from 2/24. A little anxious... I hope this isn't the final wave of admissions, because little ol' me (and others, I'm sure) is biting at my fingernails.

I feel a little unbalanced, because part of me is murmuring "Just tell me something... anything, Cornell!", and the other part is reminding me that I should be careful what I wish for.

5pm on the east coast. Guess I'm not hearing about any financial aid info. They're probably trying to figure out how to break the disappointment to me that I'm not winning the lottery tonight, but they're going to give me a full ride as a consolation prize...

I'm gonna hold on for a bit. Once I got an e-mail from them at like 9PM. Unlikely, but possible.

Me too. Really hoping to figure out the financials.

Just got accepted—not to boast but I didn't remember applying. I recommend this method: this way you are at worst mildly disappointed, at best wonderfully surprised!
