Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
decided not to retake in February because of some volatility in my prep scores, so now i have this application submitted to cornell with a 166/3.32
Ill let you know how that goes
Do you think Cornell would hold a rejection against me if i apply next year too, with a higher LSAT?

No, I don't think so at all. The dean has specifically said that they will only look at the higher score, so long as it is at least 3 points above your lower score... I think it is because any one score has a standard deviation of 3john1990 wrote:decided not to retake in February because of some volatility in my prep scores, so now i have this application submitted to cornell with a 166/3.32

Has anyone who received an interview request had the interview? If so, what kind of questions were asked?

Nope. I reapplied and had success w/ a higher score (although it was at other schools). I think they'll respect your determination if you put together a better app and have a higher score. Good luck!john1990 wrote:decided not to retake in February because of some volatility in my prep scores, so now i have this application submitted to cornell with a 166/3.32

I do. I think this is a good thing though. We very well may have decisions earlier than last cycle!sinpo wrote:Ewin wrote:Deferred EA applicant, status checker just updated to 2/9...wow that's fast.

Oh wow! I called end of February; do I get a prize? BTW, mine has not gone back into review yet, I was deferred on 12/16.Killingly wrote:I do. I think this is a good thing though. Deferred on the same date. BTW, my status still says complete, not in review.lrslayer wrote:Oh wow! I called end of February; do I get a prize? Put on reserve just now. I'm little surprised since my GPA is at the 75th and my LSAT is above it, but seems like Cornell is having a strange year. Not to bummed since I'm already in at Michigan and Berkeley. I'll be withdrawing from the list.

Cornell requested an interview with me. What do you think this means? How should I prepare?

Just received notice that I'm "on reserve". I'm assuming this is the soft waitlist... I really didn't see this one coming...
To be honest, I'm a bit bummed about this... Don't think I have a chance in hell at Chicago now... Jeez...

Still no news yet... I updated yesterday (all dates = 1/22, 1/26, 2/8, and 2/9). Figured I would have some sort of news by now after four updates.

So some RD and some deferred EA applicants updated on 2/9? Interesting.

Re: Cornell c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
It seems like most people with two consecutive updates hear back by the end of the day. It's already been a whole day, and their office closes at 4 on Fridays. The wait is terribleGhghghhhg2000 wrote:I have the same complete dates! Hopefully we hear something by the end of the day...sf88 wrote:Still no news yet...
