TCR is coming on thursday to hang with Samara, Crumps, Scarlet, and J12.
In other news, is anyone else already preparing themselves to start creeping on potential roommates at ASW? I feel like a skeezy guy in a bar. Only a girl.
In other other news, Jthor, my money is on you getting in this week. Mostly because I want there to be time for you to hop a plane and join us at ASW. (Same for Jam)

Chicago. The Ruby pretty much made the choice for me and I decided to commit today after getting back from ASW last night. I'm withdrawing from everywhere except for Yale because I still haven't heard back from them and am still keeping that dream alive haha

Yep. I knew I wasnt going to get any $ though. My big gift/present/surprise from NU was the decision itself lol
"Attached you will find your preliminary financial aid package for the JD program during the 2012-13 academic year. We will only complete the official package if you accept your admission offer."

No scholarship. Full loan offer. Nearly $80k/year. Oof. Sometimes I question going to law school. This is one of those times.

This is where I am as a 1L. Haven't regretted it yet, but I'm 100% in for public interest and won't be paying most of it back myself. It's a lot of money, and something to think about with your eyes open. Not the kind of money to jump into and then close your eyes and hope it vanishes.

WOW, what...
I don't understand. Do they take your spouse into account? Perhaps it was an issue of need...(without my parents' info, I look dirt fucking poor)

Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I assumed that you could get PLUS loans to cover whatever was left over after scholarships and Stafford loans... Or is it a determination made by the schools?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
