It's such a beautiful shot. I'm sad I've never had the opportunity to see NU in the spring or summer, just in the fall/late winter. So jelly that you're visiting, btw. Do you have family there? And please do!!! XD

Complete today! They responded to my email at 9am and I was complete by noon. I love them.

I've been impressed by their quick and friendly responses. Now if they would just start sending out decisions...

I went back to my status checker and it says to leave 6-8 weeks for them to process and review the complete apps STARTING DEC 1 D:!!!!!!!!!!! FFFMMMLLLLLLL

Ugh, I know. Surely that's the absolute ceiling though, right?

The idea of a record # of ED apps makes me sad, because that indicates the competition is stiffer this year. Also, I adore NU but a 2-3 month long gap between submitting and hearing back for ED is crazy!!! (Or at least, it makes me crazy x_x)

I'm still hoping that 6-8 is uber-conservative and most of us hear back by X-mas.

See previous few posts. No decisions yet. We are pretty sure that is a standard message given out as the "ceiling" for processing time. There's also rumors of a record number of ED apps, so it's hard to say how quickly decisions will come.

This record number of ED apps business makes me sad. I wasn't expecting to get in ED, but I was hoping it would give me a boost in RD once I got held from ED. Now I am thinking this is not the case.

I applied RD and mine also says 6-8 weeks from 12/1, so I'd guess you ED folks will still get your decisions on the early end of that timeframe

They went from giving $0 to $150,000. The heightened number of apps had to be expected, but I doubt their medians will be impacted much, if at all. Emkay you are in good shape with your numbers.
