If the admissions pattern does follow this pattern, I guess we can come to expect a few acceptances starting to trickle in this week and go right up to a few days before the ASW. Last year in fact it appears someone was accepted the day before the ASW began.Barca10 wrote:Probably one of the first theories discussed in this blog lately that makes sense and gives me hope.Doorkeeper wrote:I hadn't known this, but yes. Not to rain on anyone's parade, but weren't there a few soft hold acceptances early last March? I think they were almost exclusively URMs, but there seemed to be a few people who were more than 3 months past their complete date who were accepted...http://stanford.lawschoolnumbers.com/ap ... r=desc&p=2
I hope the rest of the pattern continues and that there are soft hold acceptances starting today, 10 days before the ASW. Come on Dean Deal, call us maybe??

Alright, if there isn't a major wave of dls's this week, something's gotta be up.
Way too many people are still waiting for decisions it seems.... Wonder how many people still waiting have been accepted to H, Y, C, etc....

For what it's worth, I didn't apply to H or Y but still haven't heard from Columbia (I expect a reject anyway, but it might be a waitlist). S seems to be dragging us along for some kind of ride...ned wrote:Alright, if there isn't a major wave of dls's this week, something's gotta be up.

urm complete since 10/28. i submitted a loci in february. with each passing day i find myself fighting the urge to do something drastic and stupid (which seem a lot more reasonable given the complete silence on stanford's end!). stanford, you are my last school to end my cycle. please love me!!

Waitlisted at C. If SLS's own deadline is April 30, then they'd send letters several days earlier than that at the latest. DLS'S are not decisions. The snail mail letters need to be received by then, on the east coast and overseas. Assuming they really are making every effort to meet their deadline.neuroticjew wrote:For what it's worth, I didn't apply to H or Y but still haven't heard from Columbia (I expect a reject anyway, but it might be a waitlist). Are you sure it is the deadline for decisions to be received as opposed to sent?ned wrote:Waitlisted at C. I guess that gives them until about the 20-23rd to make all the DLS's...(it should only take 5-7 days to get to the east coast from the west coast mailing wise).

I posted about this last week. And yes, I did. They said they can't tell me more than what it says on my status checker. They said if you have an April 15 deadline, email/call SLS THIS week and they'll add a note to your file to see if they can get back to you faster. No promises though.kindaklueless wrote:Has anyone without an exploding scholarship tried calling them?
