FWIW I checked last year's Penn ED thread and last year Penn said that they wouldn't be giving any decisions prior to December 8th, then on December 8th they started calling people. So good chance that us ED'ers will start hearing tomorrow... I hope.

ED. Status stuck on 11/16, which was my only 'under review' update. With all these more recent ED status changes, pretty sure it's over for me. Just want to get through these next couple of weeks so I can get my WL/Rejection, hopefully hear some good news from Cornell, and move on.

I wouldn't worry about it yet. I was reading through last years thread a bit and a few people didn't get the UR date change until the week they gave decisions, and IIRC still got accepted. I think we have really similar numbers though, so don't give up hope! The optimist in me is saying that I'll be accepted, the pessimist in me is saying I'll get a fall grades request like I did from Duke's PT program.

Thanks for the reassurance. Yea, we have similar stats, with mine being slightly worse. I will be hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.....if that makes any sense.

For them to start calling? Looks like anywhere from 11-1 EST, based on the past few years, and it took 2-3 days. Also seems like they sent out emails and updated status checkers to reject people in waves for a few days as well.

The earliest decision on LSN was Dec 8th (Wednesday) last year and Dec 9th (Wednesday) the year before. I guess tomorrow is not very likely.

Last year they specified that they wouldn't be giving any decisions before the 8th. This year they said they'll start the week of the 5th. So who knows, but if it's not tomorrow, yeah it'll almost certainly the 7th.

Edit: From what I can gather on LSN, the last 3 years they started on Wednesdays, then the 2 years before they started on Fridays, and before that it's too hard to really tell. But I still think that Monday is a decent possibility since otherwise they would have said the same thing they did last year (that decisions wouldn't start before the 7th instead of they will start the week of the 5th).

Probably, they would have said that decisions wouldn't start before the 5th if they had decided to give decisions on Monday . I guess "Start the week of the 5th" means that they were not sure about the exact date at that time.

I think all these recent RD updates bodes well for those ED folks who are hoping to have your decisions in the next couple of days - it might imply that they've gone through most of the ED apps and have moved on to some of the RD apps that were left on the back burner.

My assumption was that when you go UR just has to do with when you submitted - meaning you'll probably be UR in the next batch, since you submitted just after me and the others who went UR today. Best of luck!

thanks for the support Penn is easily one of my top choices, would be thrilled with the acceptance. According to LSP, I am a strong consider (64%), so I have not lost all hope.

Should I be concerned if I've been complete since 10/26 and am STILL not under review?
