If it was necessary, it would be required. Of course you are always welcomed to disclose everything. I didn't, and I think most people didn't as well.80eight wrote:Actually though, I did email Penn about this a few days ago, and their response was:

I noticed this when I called the admin office and was pleasantly surprised. yay pennr6_philly wrote:haha good timing!JamMasterJ wrote:never mind, I guess I sent it to an automated and unmonitered email address. That works. Thanks R6
BTW you guys should feel free to call the admin office with whatever questions you have. The ladies at the desk are very very nice. If you guys ever come in to visit you would see.

Yeah, I went "under comittee review" on 10/20, stuck there since. I applied mid-september, but am ED. Still a huge reach for me though, so I guess we will see.icedflames wrote:Is yours under review?MiamiOxford wrote:anyone else gone "under comittee review" yet?

Complete since 10/31...I feel like an alcoholic being proud of 3 days' sobriety.
Oh well, I'm watching Philadelphia now, and it seemed RTT on so many levels.

HELP!!!
I must be retarded right now. How the hell do you attach the ED form??
They give you a PDF form to physically print, sign, and scan back in.
Then, they only let you upload text documents.
what am i missing here??

I thought people just submitted the ED form directly to the admin office last year. I may be wrong.

If you are interested in applying for Early Decision, please select the Early Decision Admission option under Type of Application in the Application Data section of the Application Questions. Also, you must print and sign the Early Decision Agreement in Forms. You can then upload the signed Early Decision Agreement here in Attachments before transmission through LSAC. The Early Decision Agreement must be physically signed.
and yet....
Supported file formats: DOC, HTM, HTML, TXT, WP, WPD, RTF, WPS, WPT, DOCX
Note: PDFs are not supported because they may contain items that cannot be merged with other documents.
oh well, just threw the image in a text doc

Haha, ride the URM lightning. IMHO, and this is not an attempted dick-slap, but if it takes you URM status + ED to feel confident about your chances at a given school, your prospects of finishing in the top 50% of your class look pretty grim. Just something you may or may not want to consider.ED app is submitted as of 11/4. 167/3.37, Mexican URM. Let the URM force be with me..

Re: Penn c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Wait, are you suggesting that the bottom 25% of the admitted class (based on LSAT and GPA) finishes in the bottom 25% of the class for 1L-3L grades? That's borderline offensive and presumptuous, especially with the implication that URM's perform at that level. My point was that someone who had both that factor in the admissions process, as well as an Early Decision application, is twice as likely than you're suggesting to finish in the bottom 50% of their class.I have been told on TLS that the bottom 25% is URMs, not the top 50%.

Lol, pretty bizarre you'd point that out to me without knowing anything about my circumstances, but OK.anewaphorist wrote:Haha, ride the URM lightning. FWIW, neither my grades nor LSAT are very indicative of what I'm capable of. You shouldn't assume.

LOL. Of course I could figure it out, I just thought there should be a better way than putting an image in a text document. Are you mad because I made fun of you after you humiliated yourself in the Vanderbilt thread?anewaphorist wrote:Wait, you were the same kid that couldn't figure out how to send the ED form, right? Anyway, you can PM me if you want this childish flame-war to continue. How about we let the thread return to upenn?
